OUR PRODUCTION SPACES

The Marco Lupi farm was founded on the mild hills of the Val Vibrata and more precisely in Controguerra, also known as the "City of Oil", in a place of benevolent nature. Abruzzo has always been known as the "Green Region of Europe", and it is no coincidence that it is home to the largest parks on this continent. It is in this magical place that our olive trees are born and grow, famous for producing one of the most appreciated oils in the world. Our work, the great respect for the environment that surrounds us, has led us to be promoters, custodians of a lifestyle: The attention of man to nature is our prerogative!

THE PRODUCTION PHASES

The Marco Lupi farm is a supply chain. What do you mean by the term supply chain? The supply chain is the itinerary that a product follows within an agri-food system. This means that our company is responsible for all phases of processing of our product, the extra virgin olive oil of Abruzzo. Harvesting is done by hand, avoiding premature crushing that would alter the final product. Ancient management with modern technologies. The goodness of a product, oil, as nature gives it to us. Today, thanks to the use of new technologies, it is possible to avoid the common process of oxidation of the oil, which is mainly responsible for an oil without antioxidant and organoleptic properties. In fact, the milling of the olives is done by mechanical means according to the oldest tradition of cold pressing and the oil is stored in stainless steel barrels, where we introduce nitrogen, to avoid any process of oxidation during storage. Finally, our product is bottled and will arrive on your tables as if it had been milled at that moment, so you can appreciate the essence of the extra virgin olive oil.

CULTIVARS

The varieties that give life to our extra virgin olive oil and make it a unique "blend" and recognized throughout the world with a D. O. P. (Protected Designation of Origin, Pretuziano Teramane hills) are: Leccino, Frantoio, Dritta, Tortiglione, Carboncella, Castiglione. The company relies on its olive groves, with centuries-old olive trees and young farms based on a BIO specification, to ensure a constant production and quality certified over time to the final consumer.
